news report

![]() Can you blame the US special forces elite soldier who lobbed grenades into his officers tent. No, I think not. After repeated concerns about the dangers and adverse effects of the cocktail of anti biological warfare vaccines given to soldiers in Gulf war 1, the same vaccines were given to soldiers in the present Gulf war 2. News reports of 5 US soldiers who recently returned from tour of duty in Afghanistan, after taking a potent cocktail of anti biological warfare vaccines have lost it, gone mad, run amok, killing their wives/husbands/families. It maybe just shell shock, despair from witnessing so much death, destruction, brutality and carnage but there are very real fears about the safety of the vaccines given to our soldiers. Soldiers who must take the vaccines, before going to Iraq 2 are made to sign a contract, waivering the right to sue the MOD if the vaccines harm or damage them in any way. This was only recently introduced to plug the flow of previous Gulf war veterans sueing the MOD for developing Gulf war syndrome during the last Gulf war 1. Desensitised run amok gung ho brutality maybe an asset in a warfare scenario, but how do we deprogram soldiers from doing the same once they have returned to their home civillian population. If the MOD refuses to acknowledge Gulf war syndrome, how can we expect them to provide programs/funds to help returning soldiers suffering from this severe emotional and physical condition. There will be many damaged victims of this war, returning home, to be left to their own devices, to fend for themselves, turfed out on their own, who will pick up the pieces not Tony, Bush or the MOD, but society. |
