If war does start there must be massive protests everywhere. Anti war organisations across the globe have agreed a plan for protests on DAY X and the weekend after. Here in Ireland the Irish Anti War Movement, the Peace & Neutrality Alliance and the NGO Peace Alliance have agreed the following plan for Day X in conjunction with the planned International protests. We call on all those oppossed to this unjust war and Irish involvment in it to support the following plans for DAY X protests: On DAY X -Join a ten minute solidarity stoppage at Midday.

A US led War on Iraq is looking increasingly certain.
If war does start there must be massive protests everywhere. Anti war organisations across the globe have agreed a plan for protests on DAY X and the weekend after.

Here in Ireland the Irish Anti War Movement, the Peace & Neutrality Alliance and the NGO Peace Alliance have agreed the following plan for Day X in conjunction with the planned International protests.

We call on all those oppossed to this unjust war and Irish involvment in it to support the following plans for DAY X protests: On DAY X
-Join a ten minute solidarity stoppage at Midday. (walk out of work, school college, your house, stop your car - wear a white arm band/ribbon.)
-Protest in your City/town centre at 6pm. (Dublin:US Embassy)
-Mass Demonstrations in Regional Centres the following Saturday at 2pm - Dublin, Cork, Waterford, Galway, Derry, Belfast. (Dublin: Assemble Central Bank Plaza, Dame St).

We appeal to all IAWM members and supporters to actively promote the plans for the Day X protests.
Things you can do: Leaflet and poster your area. Get commitments from your workmates/Union branch to join the 10 min stoppage. Visit other workplaces, schools, colleges, shops in your area and canvass support for the Day X protests.
Submit articles, write letters to your local newspapers about the war and the plans for Day x protests.

Remember the only reason this war has not started already is because of the scale of mass popular protest across the world. The only thing that will halt the war once it starts will be taking these protests to an even higher level. The protests on Day X must be the biggest protests the world has ever seen. We must starting working for them now.

Colombia 3 protest.
Saturday March 15th @ 2.30pm Dept of Foreig Affairs St Stephens Green, Dublin.
All independent legal observers at the trial of the three Irishmen agree that they will not get a faiir trial in Colombia. This protest is calling on the Irish government to intervene on the men's behalf.

Tralee - Anti War March.
A major demonstration is taking place in Tralee this Saturday March 15th. Assemble outside UDC Offices (Beside Brandon Hotel Car park) at 2.30pm.See website www.irishantiwar.org for full details.

Longford - Anti war protest
An Anti War protest will be taking place this Sunday, March 16th in Longford at 3pm in Car Park opposite St Mels Cathedral.
