There's method in Trump's tariff madness, says Ramesh Thakur. Uniting his America First, anti-Net Zero and anti-DEI policies is an imperative to untangle the US from strategic dependence on an ascendant China.

The Little Blue Book.

on Democracy · Election and Representation.

Little Blue Books The Irish have a little blue book. It has two names Constitution of Ireland Bunreacht na hEirinn Great.

It has loads of really cool stuff in it.
Never judge a book by it´s cover.
This cover has a little harp.
Inside you´ll find lots of laws (rules that can be broken and stretched) and amendments.

Amendments are really hard to make. But great fun. And inside there is lots of really unused stuff too.
The Irish should really be very careful of who get´s hold of their constitution. Perhaps they may consider a future campaign to stop people reading it.

(They could cut out all the English language bits for starters and just leave the Bunreacht).

Now I´m a young man older than I was but not old enough yet to be President, and besides it is a traditionally female role. But there doesn´t seem to be any problem with having other jobs. Loads of jobs in the little blue book. Lots of stuff in there. Really
...have a look.

On the other side of reality, last Friday Mr Stallman came to my local city where as a resident I would quite naturally have voting rights and rights to represent my neighbours. Mr Stallman has a great beard. Beards are very important. Dalí quite rightly pointed out the decline of the beard in the Western Dialectic which is the "Bolshevik Leader".
So Marx and Engels had great big beards in the beginning , and Envor Hoxha banned them in the end.
Anyway Mr Stallman has a big beard and is credited with having been one of the greatest hackers of all time. Hi Mr Stallman :-)
Mr Stallman helped his friend Torvald Linux come up with the UNIX idea.
Free software and information exchange without patent or fee. Now Mr Linux has somewhat changed his approach in recent times, but Mr Stallman told the "La Vangaurdia" and "El Periodico" that he can survive (as can anyone) on about $100 a week. $100 equals about €100 give or take a Kyoto.
Mr Stallman has dreamt of beautiful mathematics which to my silly mind sometimes seem like crystaline structures rather than material dialetics. If you go to the link you will read an online version of the "little blue book" provided by Trinity College Dublin´s mathematic department.

Where was I? oh yeh the Irish constitution. Well it has been very flexible hasn´t it? How far do you think one would have to go before it broke? I have most recently taken to consideration of constitutions. Fine minds are writing the European constitution. There will I assure you be an online free version. The Irish constitution has been slowly eaten by lots of little worms in the filing system. But you´ll get that with old books.

Some great favourite characters here have been doing their level best without enough encouragement to draw your attention to the wonderful little blue book. Don´t you think you should pay more attention before the lesson plan changes?

Mr Stallman was exceedingly funny in his introduction in Barcelona, look at what he said,
"I am Saint IGNUtius and have come to free your software.
Well the indignance of calling himself a saint.

oh last thought
¿¿¿¿if Irish people have been elected to represent constituencies when they were not resident in the state,

Then why can not I have the right to vote in the constituency of my birth, in the country of my birth, by electronic vote or postal vote, or by showing my passport in a designated diplomatic mission of the Republic of Ireland in harmony with those democratic rights held by my fellow citizens of the European Union.

I asked Mr Stallman this same question.
and his answer is worth re-reading by backward cryptic texts.

SHALOM = SALEEM = SIOCHAIN = PEACE

the constitution has moved you see,
Trinity College Dublin Mathematics department no longer keep it in the "junk file".
So if you click on the last link in the tongue in cheek usual silly style piece above, you won't get to our little blue book "the constitution one".
anyway the majority of the island of Ireland is governed by this little book and it has appeared to have worked quite well.
No-one is into breaking it @ all @ all.
Rather we would seek to make full and proper use of it.
