![]() Recently released secret documents, released after 30 yrs revealed that notorious hanging QC Basil McIvor was in charge of the community relations council back in 1972. As usual Basil was not very sucessful in promoting community relations, but he did rejoice after discovering that areas of west belfast was then 'free from IRA control'. Basil McIvor is also not very sucessful at running schools either, like his incompetent ex met now armagh PSNI peeler son Johnathan McIvor in charge of the investigation into the murders of Rosemary Nelson and Marty O Hagan. As governor of Lagan college, Basil must have been instrumental in situating the school in the middle of nowhere, beside a electricity sub station, surrounded by electricity pylons. For 20 years now, pupils at Lagan have been educated in freezing makeshift mobiles, thanks to the resourcefulness, care and concern of Basil McIvor for the children of those who support integrated education and integration. Backward victorian Bangor snob Basil has tried to imprint his backward victorian values on Lagan's pupil population, thus lagan is big on discipline but lax on actually educating children and providing children with a rewarding education. For those working class parents who are now withdrawing their children from the appaling conditions and lack of proper teaching at Lagan, Lagan serves to remind us, never ever let a backward victorian snooty snob like QC Basil McIvor near children or integrated education. |
