 I've sent the attached Freedom of Information Request to Aer Rianta re No Fly Lists & exclusion of people from airports. This is a format you could use when sending FOI requests to Aer Rianta. The contact person is Marie Walsh email: marie.walsh@aer-rianta.ie Aer Rianta, Dublin Airport, Co Dublin. tel 8141111 freephone 1800 74 77 47 Pat ************************************** Dear Ms Walsh Under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 1997 I wish to request the following information: 1. Copies of all communications sent and received by Aer Rianta, since 1 January 2002, in writing, electronic, transcripts of phone calls & meetings and any other means recorded regarding the use of Aer Rianta run Airports by military aircraft. 2. Copies of all communications sent and received by Aer Rianta, since 1 January 2002, in writing, electronic, transcripts of phone calls & meetings and any other means recorded regarding the exclusion of individuals from Aer Rianta run Airports. 3. Copies of all communications sent and received by Aer Rianta, since 1 January 2002, in writing, electronic, transcripts of phone calls & meetings and any other means recorded regarding protests against military aircraft at Aer Rianta run Airports. 4. Copies of all communications sent and received by Aer Rianta, since 1 January 2002, in writing, electronic, transcripts of phone calls & meetings and any other means recorded regarding the United States of America Federal No Fly List as distributed by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration or from any other Federal U.S. Agency, Department or other body. Ideally we could get a look at what the police (hello Insp. Kennedy, still reading IMC?) have gathered about us on Pulse. When I was recently processed at Shannon police station they linked that arrest to some info they had on me from Dublin (the police man on the computer asked his colleague whether that could be the same Eoin Dubsky as this one... and then "linked" the records). I have never been arrested in Dublin.
Hmmmm.
i rang aer rianta & was told walsh was the person to send foi requests to.
whatever bout aer rianta, govt depts are subject to foi act.
i'll get a list of the relevant ones & email adds & post it here

According to the site if the Info Commissioner, to whom appeals about decisions are made, the FOI act does not apply to aer rianta...

as i said when i rang aer rianta, they gave me that contact name for FOI.
