Jump To Comment: 1 2 3 4 5 6Cycling to the RTS event yesterday, I noticed dozens of people standing at every bus stop I passed. One could tell they had been waiting a long time, judging by the pissed off faces on them. Dublin Bus Car Free Day? A joke!
Yesterday was essentially a standard Sunday except with free buses from 1-6. The government should be ashamed of themselves about yesterday when you look at many other European countries where they comprehend the phrase Car Free Day.
Sure what would it have to do with the government? I wonder did Bertie and the other tossers walk to Croke Park yesterday? I somewhow doubt it, state mercs and helicopters being the order of the day.
I came to the RTS party from Naas, left Naas @ 11.00 and didnt reach Dublin till 12.45, the trip usually takes 45 mins, 35 on a sunday, car free day? yeah right, perhaps take your car for a walk day would have been more descriptive!
