We are running a campaign to encourage people to boycott certain newspapers on the grounds that they are not only anti-Republican but indeed anti -Irish in their political views. Independent Newspapers will be the focus of our attention this week. This company publishes the Irish Independent. Evening Herald, the so called Irish Daily Star and The Sunday World.

They are also responsible for various other equally biased tabloids and broadsheets throughout Ireland and beyond. This wont come as a surprise to anyone who reads more than one of these publications as they all regularly carry vitriolic stories with a right-wing, anti- Irish Republican agenda. Denis O'Brien has a substantial share in the company and board members include bankers and politicians of various hues. These publications are used mainly to get across an elitist viewpoint and use our love of sport and our unhealthy interest in so called celebrities to foist their capitalist opinions upon us. Boycotting these rich mans newsheets will not only starve the elite of an audience, but will hit them where it makes their eyes water the most, their pockets! If you can make this small sacrifice in the fight to put an end to the power that the wealthy few have in Ireland then you will also make a substantial contribution to the removal of the unwanted and unwelcome occupier who these worthies regard as their allies. BOYCOTT THE FREE STATE PRESS!

Statement ends.

It's a shitty excuse for a newspaper and blatantly lies about things regularly. It's coverage of Syria is a joke. Full of lies, propaganda and mistruths.

People could probably list some of their frequent lies on this thread?

Boycott the Indo!!
