Saturday 27th July 2013 Mullingar, Co Westmeath

The Rally will assemble at St. Pauls Church, Delvin Rd. Mullingar at 2pm and go to the Market Square in central Mullingar.

The Westmeath Windfarm Information Groups, together with similar groups from neighbouring counties, have organised a Rally and Family Protest against Industrial Windfarms in the Midlands to take place in Mullingar on Sat. 27th July 2013.

The Rally will assemble at St. Pauls Church, Delvin Rd. Mullingar at 2pm and go to the Market Square in central Mullingar.

We would ask all who are concerned about this exploitation of the beautiful midlands counties for the profit of two private companies - remember that all of the electricity they propose to generate is for export to Britain - would come out on that day to show that they are against the planned destruction of the lives of ordinary people and the destruction of the environment just to make rich men even richer.

We hope to see as many as can possibly make it in Mullingar on Saturday. Make your own signs and banners and have your say.

The Midlands, no more than any other part of our island, are definitely NOT FOR SALE!
