LASC invites you to submit photos for the Latin America Week Photo Exhibition 2013

category international | miscellaneous | other press author Tuesday February 05, 2013 11:33author by Latin America Solidarity Centre - LASC Report this post to the editors

This is an opportunity for LASC members, volunteers, friends and community groups to exhibit photos of Ireland and Latin America during Latin America Week 2013. The title of the exhibition is:

“Digging at the Heart of Mother Earth”

The theme is of Mining and Extractive Industries so LASC are looking for pictures that will fit in with this theme: mining and extraction, its effects, community organising / resistance … both in Ireland and Latin America. So put your creative hats on and send us some pics!
Each participant should submit a maximum of 3 good quality photos preferably in digital format, with a title, date, place it was taken and the person who took it. Please remember to send a short caption with each photo. Printed photos will be also accepted. LASC will send back all the printed photos received after the exhibition. Please make sure you don’t send us the only copy you have. We do not accept responsibility for photos lost in the post.
LASC will select the photos to be displayed in the exhibition according to:

• Quality of the photo
• Relevance to the theme

The deadline of submission is the 1st of March 2013.

Send your photos to LASC Photo Exhibition, 5 Merrion Row, Dublin 2 or by email to events@lasc.ie.
