Join us at Solidarity Books next Wednesday 14th November 8pm for a Cork Premiere showing of "Welcome to Our World" (2012 Dir. Margaretta D’Arcy) a film which asks what is daily life like for those with wheelchairs?


Film description follows:
"The historic city of Galway is reputed to be a fun-loving city for visitors and residents alike. But there is a darker side, encountered daily by wheelchair users. Fast-moving and funny with moments of anger, frustration, pain and courage, welcome to the world of the wheelchair user. The film's director - playwright, author, filmmaker, pirate broadcaster and activist - Margaretta D'Arcy will attend. A discussion on the themes of the film will follow. "

 Start time is 8pm.

All welcome, entry is Free and donations are appreciated.
