Bat Conservation Ireland is running a Daubenton's Bat Survey Training workshop in Teach Gleann Choe, Doochary, County Donegal on Thursday, August 2nd at 8.00pm.

This Training Workshop will equip volunteers to partake in the all Ireland Daubenton's Bat Survey in County Donegal. Volunteers will be provided with Bat Detectors, maps and a Survey information pack so that they can survey a stretch of river within 10km of their homes. The survey will take place on two nights in August when volunteers will count the number of Daubenton's Bats which they detect with the bat detectors over one hour along a 1km stretch of waterway. No experience necessary. Everyone welcome.
