Sea Shepherd in Northern Ireland

Sea Shepherd Ireland have a number of volunteers and supporters in Northern Ireland and we will be holding our first Volunteer Information Session on 19th April 2012. If you wish to know more about Sea Shepherd please come along to our talk in the Carrickfergus Sailing Club on 18th April 2012 at 8.00pm.

Established in 1977, by Captain Paul Watson, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization. Our mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.

Sea Shepherd uses innovative direct-action tactics to investigate, document, and take action when necessary to expose and confront illegal activities on the high seas. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately-balanced ocean ecosystems, Sea Shepherd works to ensure their survival for future generations.

Sea Shepherd Ireland has a fantastic new way to volunteer: SEA SHEPHERD TEAMS, it's more fun, meet more people and take your own direct action to fit in around your commitments, using the interests that you already have. Want to know more email ireland@seashepherd.org
