The sugar tax sums up Britain's descent into a technocratic dystopia, says Dr David McGrogan. While our Government does almost nothing well, it remains a world-leader in passive-aggressive, surreptitious nudging.

Hi !
This function took place , as planned, on Saturday May 8th last , in the 79'r Pub in Ballyfermot, Dublin , and was over-subscribed!
The doors had to be closed at 10.30pm to new entrants , a new book of raffle-tickets had to be acquired very quickly, and the on-site 'shop' done fantastic business.
The 22 men were remembered in song and speech, and an up-date on the conditions being endured by republican prisoners in Portlaoise and Maghaberry was given to the approximate 200 people in the audience by RSF President, Des Dalton.
Words and pictures at the 'Related Link' below , including more on that Birthday cake...
Thanks!
Sharon.
