The Guardian's recent U-turn over Arctic sea ice ? not melting, it turns out ? is symptomatic of a broader collapse in climate alarmism, says Ben Pile. None of the prognostications of doom have come true.

Break For the Border, Stephen Street (beside the back of the Stephens Green Shopping Centre).Wednesday 3rd June 2009 at 7:30PM. Entry €10. Teams of 5, i.e. € 50 per team.

Last year, a group of us visited the West Bank. On our return we decided to do something positive for the region. We organised two events last year to fund raise for the Al-Basma special needs school in Bethlehem and third level students' tuition fees in the West Bank. Special needs is an often neglected area in what is already a very troubled region. Third level students have great difficulty in accessing education due to the general restrictions on people in this area.

We decided to continue the fund raising efforts as an ongoing cause.

Many of you graciously came along to our events last year. However, it is a new year and we need to continue our fundraising efforts for the special needs school and students.

Venue:- Break for the Border (beside and at the rear of the Stephens Green Shopping Centre)
Time:- 7:30 pm
Date:- Wednesday 3rd June

Cost will be € 10 per person for each team of five. This is an open event, the more the merrier.

Look forward to seeing you all there and please tell your friends !
