Chirac Leads the Way

A pact was signed today to build a plant to produce energy by nuclear fusion for commercial use. France leads the way and gets massive backing from the EU.

The production of limitless energy for industrial and domestic use from nuclear fusion was the dream and fond hope of the 1950's when rural electrification came to Ireland. Today saw an organized attempt to bring that dream to some kind of practical realization.
