The Cuisle Performance Poetry Slam

Performance poets and spoken word artists will battle it out at the inaugural Cuisle Performance Poetry Slam to be held at 9.30pm

Fri Oct 20th- White House Pub, Limerick.

For those of you who haven’t experienced one, a slam is a performance poetry competition in which poets perform for not more than three minutes. The winner will be chosen by an appointed three person panel, consisting of three poets here to read at the festival. The prize on offer to the winner is a trip to Brighton to perform at their festival in May 2007 plus lots of other prizes on the night.

All you have to do is arrive on the night to the White House and give your name to the M.C. Barney Sheehan. Alternatively you can send on your name to the Limerick City Arts Office, City Hall, Limerick by the 13th October requesting inclusion you can email your intention to participate to sdeegan@limerickcity.ie

We will be delighted to hear from you and your letter will be acknowledged. Once your name is on the list you will be called on the night with everybody else to make your contribution.

Admission is free.
