offsite link Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent
Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!

This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".

According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.

People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.

Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.

offsite link Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza

Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support

With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza

This story is unverified but it is very instructive of what will happen when cash is removed
THIS STORY IS UNVERIFIED BUT PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO OR READ THE TRANSCRIPT AS IT GIVES AN VERY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT A CASHLESS SOCIETY WILL LOOK LIKE. And it ain't pretty

A single video report has come out of China claiming China's biggest cities are now cashless, not by choice, but by force. The report goes on to claim ATMs have gone dark, vaults are being emptied. And overnight (July 20 into 21), the digital yuan is the only currency allowed.

Kissinger in Cork

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Wednesday February 27, 2002 18:38author by Rosie Meadeauthor address 6 Maymnount Villas, Old Youghal Road Report this post to the editors

Last night, Tuesday February 26th, Henry Kissinger's official dinner in UCC was interrupted by the sounds of protesters chanting, singing and naming him a war criminal. Today protesters that included staff, students and peace activists came face to face with Mr Kissinger. Our anger was real and our expression of it was powerfully effective. If the business people of Cork wish to celebrate Kissinger, they realise now that UCC is not the forum. Congratulations to all who were there.

Protests over Kissinger's Cork visit
A series of protests are set to greet former US secretary of state Henry Kissinger when he arrives in Cork this week.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mr Kissinger, a former right hand man of US president Richard Nixon, is to address an ecomonic conference at University College Cork.

The theme of the conference is `The Changing Global and Economic Climate`.

However, Mr Kissinger`s role in US politics has sparked a wave of protests over the visit.

The Socialist Workers` Party and Socialist Youth plan a number of protests, while the Cork Council of Trade Unions is also up in arms.

CCTU said it was appalled that UCC and a number of Cork based businesses had decided to invite the former US secretary of state in view of the bombings of Vietnam and Cambodia.

Green Party Councillor Dan Boyle said Mr Kissinger made a number of decisions that resulted in the deaths of thousands of people and his opinions and views were "not those that should be lauded".

Tickets for the UCC seminar cost ?00 a head.

I was there on wednesday and although i'm not usually a good judge of crowd size i would like to dispute the numbers bandied about both on this site and tv3 news. It's not permissible to count disinterested onlookers as protesters.
I just want to know what people thought they've sincerely achieved, so the old git got a bit of a shaking, so what, what will it change.
To tell the truth i was really pissed off by the attitude of some of the protesters who just seemed up for a ruck. After ol' Henry was ushered into our esteemed place of learning i noticed that a lot of 'protesters' were standing around noisily congratulating themselves on a job well done whilst also drowning out the voices of an old couple who had direct experience of insidious US foreign policy in chile? People just didn't seem to care.
sorry to sound so negative and cynical, i detest the excesses of US foreign policy as much as any decent human, i've also seen the effects in south east asia for myself but i just don't see what pushing an old git like that can achieve. We need an international court to deal with transgressors of human rights like him not students up for a bit of a scrap with the 'man'.
please click on the link above to see more of Henry's shady dealings this time in Angola.

I am very happy with what was achieved at the two protests. Do you, Mark, think that Pol Pot should be invited to talk at UCC (were he alive) and would you protest his presence? There is no difference in my book between Kissinger and Pol Pot only that Kissinger wielded vastly more power and was probably responsible for more misery.
In relation to free speach, let him speak from the pulpit of the church to which he sends his enemies. The Hague. As I commented in some other report, anyone could have smacked the man had they wished to but nobody did. That reflects some respect for human life in the presence of depravity. I do not condone or criticise the jostling that he received but in reality no harm was done and the message was clear, Kissinger is NOT welcome here.
In relation to the numbers at the protest, I feel I was conservative in numbering 60 to 70 as a core presence at each protest. I specifically mentioned the fact that the numbers swelled at 9, 10, 11am etc due to the arrival of curious students so that I would not be accused of massaging the truth. I think I even mentioned that this showed how weak and (I didn't mention) illiterate the student body is. I also don't know why you chose to post this comment against a newswire article where no numbers were mentioned at all.
If you so detest the excesses of American foreign policy, what do you suggest that you do about it? Do you welcome one of the main architects of that policy with open arms? Do you let them know that they are not welcome? I chose the latter because that's how I feel.
Who is going to put that man in a criminal court? Is Georgw W going to let a "decent, law abiding" American citizen like Kissinger be tried? In fact one of the female protesters caught onto his sleeve and declared "Citizens arrest!" before being blown away by Garda. What are things about if the protectors of the law are protecting a mass murderer?

Good reply twat but i feel that my initial point was to do with student support (as a whole)of the protest. I believe that most of the onlookers were bemused by the sight of a normally sedate lecture area turned into something more akin to an anti-globalisation demonstration, although on a vastly smaller scale. I just wonder as to whether the student body as a whole really cared about the crimes of this elderly man AND no of course i ain't condoning his actions (or anyone of his ilk).
Sure you make a good point about making certain that people like him are never made feel welcome wherever they appear but that on it's own can't achieve an end to crimes 'gainst humanity, can it?
