SHOCKING NEW FOOTAGE of Reclaim The Streets Party

VIDEO for Police attacking the Reclaim the Streets Party. Shocking new footage of Garda brutality against peaceful Anti-Corporate Globalisation Protesters in Dublin. GARDA can clearley be seen randomley beating young women around the head while they lay helpless on the ground!
And for what? Wanting a better planet?

One Garda was filmed shouting "Ill Assult who I like" before doing just that...

Another sebnior Garda is filmed pushing away a young man with a bleeding head as he asks for an ambulance...

Is this what we can expect from our so called PEACE-KEEPERS?

There was video footage on TV3's Week in Review last night that seemed to be new. Any idea where that was from? Showed more police violence at Monday's protest.

I think that indymedia ireland should play this footage via a public screening, we all need to see all of the footage.

Although you're rightly angry about the awful thing that has been done to the woman in the picture ( I hope that she has lots of friends looking after her right now), what you're coming across like is the Garda that did this to her. Probably they believe in the inhumanity of the woman, that's what allowed them to beat her: they, the Gardai are damaged people (probably it's hard not to get that way in the job) and reacting like that to them does no good.

I'm unsure about whether you're someone that's really angry and upset, or whether you're someone trying to make indymedia.ie look like its populated by nutters. If you're really angry then I'm sorry. But I don't agree with what you wrote and most other people probably don't. We feel rage and anger at the Gardai, and at the people that control them, and the system that makes them do this. But we don't want to kill them.

HI,
Just some techie advice. You would be better off encoding using RealEncoder at 20kpbs at 192 X 144 frame size. Play directly into the encoder via compression card. Dont record as avi first. Select video at 12 kps and 8kps audio for superior results.

I'm sorry about that, and, indeed,in retrospect, one lone individual can be used as ammo by the likes of P.J Stone, such is their psychotic intranigence. My utmost apologies.

Fact was,if I can see a thug beating a girl, now that makes my blood boil. The fact that it was a cop, paid for by tax payers money...I nearly burst a brain vessel.I don't like getting headaches.

I hope the poor wee girl is alright.Furthermore,I hope she is one of the "upper, middle class,D4 hippy, who knows nuh'in 'bout reelty"(the sort of thing some smartarse was writing in.)If this is so,then her family can afford to pay for justice through the courts.

I don't have a headache any longer.Again, sorry about that, and thank you for yourcalm response.Your all great people.Good luck, and hugs and kisses to the poor wee lass.
