Should governments be able to censor online content for the entire world? That's what Australia is claiming the right to do. But do they really think China and Russia should be able to choose what the world sees?

MAY DAY 1886 - 2014

The struggle for a new society without exploitation and oppression from human to human continues...

128 years after the workers’ insurrection in Chicago on May 1st 1886, the proletarians, the poor and the excluded are faced with the savage attack of the state and bosses. The subversion of the conquests, which were the result of bloody class and social struggles, like the one for the 8-hour workday, aims to the total imposition of modern slavery upon society.

The radical message of the insurrection of Chicago May Day is always present as long as the everyday struggles for free access to the basic social goods, for decent working and life conditions are connected with the overall struggle for the subversion of the state and capitalism and the vision for individual and social liberation is kept alive within them.

In today’s conditions of overall crisis of the system, the attack of the rulers for the violent restructure of authority, exploitation, and oppression mechanisms in order to form a society dominated by fear, submission, control, individualization, fascism becomes a war against the poorest and plebian social parts.

In the workplaces of paid slavery exploitation is intensified, basic rights are abolished (such as the 8-hour workday, social security, collective labour agreements) and fear prevails due to the extortion of unemployment which is rising. Social exclusions from health, housing, work, education, transports are growing and multiplied condemning larger and larger social groups into wretchedness, poverty and death. Social cannibalism and fighting among the poor is stirred up from above so that social and class rage is defused within the class of the oppressed and not turned against the real responsible for the looting of our lives, that is the state and bosses. The fierce repression and slander of the social, class and political struggles is a basic priority of the state in order to impose its antisocial plans, while the most radical and militant parts of the resistances like the anarchists are attempted to be struck exemplarily for the terrorism of the whole society. The murderous fascist hit teams are used to act parallel with the official repressive forces, to attack and terrorize all those who resist the state and bosses’ brutality. The weakest and most wretched social groups like immigrants without papers and refugees face the murderous hunt of the military and international police forces at the borders, the police racist pogroms in the cities, while the condition of exclusion is imposed on them through their confinement in the modern concentration camps.

From our side, the side of the workers, the poor, the plebians of this world, the history of class and social struggles shows us that proletarians have got nothing to expect from the institutions, parliaments, elections, the bureaucratic leaderships of the unions and the mediators of class struggle who converse with the bosses pleading for their charity; that whatever there is be to gained, is going to be the result of their wide, organized on the basis, militant and radical struggles. Only the overall subversion of state and capitalism, the social expropriation of the wealth we ourselves produce and is being sucked by a caste of authoritarians, the organized from below social and class counterattack, the revolution for a new society of common ownership, solidarity and freedom can justify the desires and true social needs of the oppressed of the globe.

... until the subversion of the world of the state and capital, the global social revolution, anarchy and communism.
