The Trans-Pacific Partnership, an 11-country trade negotiation intended to go well beyond existing trade regimes, appears to the be model for proposed United States–European Union trade agreement. Neoliberalism knows no borders, so perhaps it should not come as a bolt out of the blue that the United States and European Union are set to negotiate a “Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership.” |
