The Covid-19 vaccines (aka the experimental gene therapy) are a Trojan horse for two reasons. One is because they have the potential to cause great harm and long term chronic health and even death and the second because they are a key part of "vaccine passports" that are central to forming the global identification and control system of a worldwide totalitarian technocracy. The media, Big Tech and government have made no effort to hide the fact that they intend vaccine passports to be permanent and expanded to all aspects of life from travel to public events, to entry to work, cafes, restaurants and even pubs although these measures will come later once they get the travel part locked in and accepted. read full story / add a comment

Paul Craig Roberts was an insider in the US government for years so he knows how things really work and what the real motivations and driving forces are for geopolitical actions on the world stage. Don't believe the propaganda guff from your TV news. In this article Paul lays bare in simple terms what's actually going on in Ukraine, with Russia, the G7 and the US, and he lays bare the lies propagated about the role of the US in the second world war and the deliberately sidelined but crucial role of 27 million russians who sacrificed their very lives to defeat Nazi Germany, versus only 450,000 US soldiers read full story / add a comment

A number of high profile Shell to Sea campaigners including 'the Chief' Pat O'Donnell and Maura Harrington sought to appeal certain criminal convictions in cases heard last week at Castlebar Circuit Court from 9th - 11th February. A few of the appeals were successful but some of the convictions were upheld by the court. Judge Raymond Groarke concluded that Pat O'Donnell is a thug and a bully, and Maura Harrington is a vigilante. This article has a look at the reality. read full story / add a comment

A group of Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) are planning to start up a GI coffeehouse near the entrance of the Fort Lewis military base in Washington State. Though the project is still in its planning stages, the idea is that it will be a center for supporting GI rights and war resistance in the region, as well as a place for GIs to get coffee right off the base. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iOSDz6_iww Length - 5.50) read full story / add a comment

Some weeks ago, with last weekend's winter soldier event on the horizon, I talked to David Zeiger, through the freebie magic of Skype. He's the directer of the documentary Sir, No Sir. It's a Displaced Films and BBC production that came out about two years ago, and focused on the GI movement to end the war in Vietnam. It consists in part, of interviews with veterans explaining why they resisted the war, and in some cases went as far as to defect. Hundreds went to prison and thousands into exile, by 1971 it was a movement that in the words of one colonel had “infested the entire armed services” - yet few people today are aware of this soldiers movement against the war in Vietnam. read full story / add a comment

Army Sergeant Ronn Cantu is serving his second tour in Iraq. He's also a member of Iraq Veterans Against the War. Last year, he rose to prominence as a rare outspoken troop against the war and occupation when he spoke live from his base in Iraq, to America's radical online radio network Democracy Now. Then he described how he was scared out of his mind during the interview for expressing opinions the military machine simply did not want the public to hear. This time round, in an interview for another radical media outlet, we chatted over Myspace, about how he is utilizing the internet to organise against the occupation from its front line, just as the winter soldier events were getting closer. read full story / add a comment

As many as 100 veterans of the recent U.S. army involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan will give public accounts of their experiences on the ground, at an event organised by Iraqi Veterans Against the War from the 13th to the 16th of March, in the U.S. federal capital Washington D.C. The hearing will coincide with the 5th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq and will precede a series of actions and protests taking place accross the U.S. on March 19th [1]. Liam Madden, a sergeant in the Marine Corps from January 2003 to January 2007 who was deployed to Iraq, Kuwait, Thailand, Japan, and Korea and during his last year co-founded the Appeal for Redress [2], a campaign of service members demanding that congress halt the war in Iraq, said that veterans and civilian survivors of both conflicts will give public testimony and share eyewitness stories that have been censored from the American public about the true cost of these wars. read full story / add a comment

‘winter soldier’ (1972) is a film that has suffered from de facto censorship for most of its thirty six years. Its recent screening as part of the ‘War at Home’ category in the Berlinale Film Festival affected people in Berlin’s Filmpalast theatre as it did when first screened in the early seventies. It is harrowing viewing. Perhaps never before have words, simple spoken words, had such an affect on a society as this film did in the United States of America in 1972. This was because of the undeniable integrity of the U.S. servicemen articulating the extent of the genocidal operating procedure of the U.S. Armed Forces in Vietnam. It has since effectively been erased from the public memory. In the eighties and nineties the era of the Vietnam War underwent a full-scale reconstruction with the likes of Hollywood facelifts of the Vietnam veteran with such films as ‘Rambo’, ‘Hamburger Hill’ and ‘Full Metal Jacket’. Many people in Berlin were moved by the film as it is once again so relevant to all of us. read full story / add a comment

This was a contribution to Indymedia 4th March by Redjade Coming To Grief by Hans Johnson Like the breeze of late winter, a single word, unspoken, has rippled through the recent funerals of several US service members returned from Iraq. Families and military presss officers have different reasons for tight lips on the topic. But Suicide among Iraq soldiers, 29 soldiers by recent count, says volumes about drooping morale and raises further doubts about how accurately the toll on service members is being measured and how much more they will bear' We all are delicate human beings...........bureaucracy can always be sorted out......life cannot be given back. read full story / add a comment

The Guardian carries a quiet little story about how one of the UK soldiers being court martialled over abuse of Iraqi prisoners admits to being "ashamed". This trial supposedly arose out of the discovery of "disturbing" photographs by a woman working in a photo-processing laboratory. The soldiers are said to have (besides beating the prisoners) have forced their prisoners to simulate anal and oral sex. read full story / add a comment

But the important question is, how do we penetrate the numbness of Israelis, soldiers and civilians alike, about the wrongness of our actions - wrong morally and stupid strategically. As virtually everyone has recognized by now, the brutal policies only create more bitterness and desire for revenge. How do we get the message across to Israelis that the government is undermining our security in the territories with each act of humiliation and cruelty? How do we convey to Israelis that we are behaving in some ways like the persecutors of Jews have behaved from time immemorial? Israeli peace and human rights activists have been wracking our brains over how to accomplish this. The young men and women who refuse to serve in the army have done more than their share to raise awareness about the army's cruel deeds, though they face court martial and prison as a result. read full story / add a comment
