It has long been observed et cetera.., As your national poet & someone who has read Chomsky's tarot cards, I want to move the Irish cultural narrative beyond the Othello quotation frenzy of C.J. Haughey's state funeral & draw your attention to the European Day of Action yesterday to close migrant internment camps. This is where our 25 states send mostly Africans & Moors so we don't see thier desperation.

The title of this edition of The sunday papers is a play on nomencliture
being both a simultanteous play on the name of Oscar Wilde's father Sir William Wilde
and Alderman Dr William Shakespeare H.dip.Ed. F.R.C.S.I., M.B.E.,

for the first time since the "exodus edition" of the sunday papers, iosaf is going to tell you a story. read full story / add a comment

It has been long observed that people for some reason on their non-banking days readily absorb shite about Dangerous Places, Famous People, Sensible Saving Options, Holidays, Interesting facts, Sport results, Media, gardening and health as well looking ahead at “democratic evolution” and looking back at "how history was made".

in this edition, the first since the "Mozart Edition" of Jan. 8, I will touch briefly on the three years since the Iraq war, Whats happening in France on the class politics front and in Peru and Italy on the lead-up to their general elections next month, and a even shorter mention of the Zapatista's other campaign in Mexico. & a bit of religiosity too. read full story / add a comment

Today is august, 8th month 2005.
It is also Tisha B’Av or the 9th of Av, year of Moses 5765.
It is also the 9th day of Rajab, 1426 since the Hegira.
Today is historic because it sees the deadline for unilateral withdrawl from the Gaza strip of some 8000 plus living Israeli citizens and many of their dead.
Today may also be historic as under extreme pressure from the USA the Iraqi government are supposed to present a draft constitution. read full story / add a comment

This therefore Concerns the same conceptual textual space that weekly produces “I really can’t think of anything newsworty to write” stuff from me. But I do not feel ashamed of nor dissuaged from writing a sunday article unhindered by petty concerns for how difficult it is to be an editor, a worker, or reader reconciling split infinitives. read full story / add a comment
