EU Court scuttles planned fracked gas terminal permission
‘Far reaching’ EU Court ruling on Shannon LNG terminal welcomed The European Court of Justice has advised the Irish High Court that the 2018 extension by An Bord Pleanála to the 2008 planning permission for the construction of a proposed €500m fracked gas terminal on the south bank of the River Shannon estuary must be considered as a new permit for the purposes of the Habitats Directive and must be subject to a new Assessment under the Habitats Directive. read full story / add a comment

It's really sad that there is no criticism of the Covid restrictions in the UK & Ireland in either the mainstream press & media or within the political establishments of both countries. It appears the population has quite willingly accepted these totalitarian measures. However, there is at least one or two journalists who have a backbone and have not sold their souls to the system. As usual their pieces appear not in the mainstream media but in the much maligned Russia Today website where irony of ironies it is the home of what was formerly one of the worst totalitarian systems in the 20th century. The piece is by Guy Birchall and this is what he has to say: The latest crazy edict from Boris Johnson’s government is that only six people can meet up in private homes. There is no logic to this whatsoever, and it perfectly sums up their shambolic handling of the entire coronavirus crisis. read full story / add a comment

The same Gates Foundation which is behind every aspect of the COVID-19 pandemic from financing much of the WHO budget, to investing in favored vaccine-makers like Moderna, is engaged in a major project in Africa which is destroying traditional small farmer production of essential food crops in favor of monoculture crops and introduction of expensive chemical fertilizers and GMO seeds that are bankrupting small farmers. Court Advised to quash An Bord Pleanala’s consent for Shannon fracked gas terminal An Bord Pleanála’s extension to the 2008 grant of planning permission for a €500m liquified natural gas terminal on the Shannon Estuary will be the subject of a Reference from the European Court of Justice on Wednesday. The pro-lockdown cheerleaders in the mainstream media have been following No.10’s orders and wrongly branding all lockdown sceptics as nutty conspiracy theorists – but the tide is turning.
More and more people are coming round to realise lockdown has been a major mistake. Yet newspapers and TV, here in the UK at least, are still loyally hounding down dissenters and tarring each one as some sort of lunatic who needs, well, locking up.
