Articles produced by CEO are important because the mainstream media no longer informs the public, it in fact misleads them, yet an informed public is essential for making informed decisions and for the safe and proper functioning of society.

The current edition of People's News, dated 22 November 2015, is available for download. The opening lead article discusses "The Myth of Social Europe" documenting the continue attack on workers rights and conditions.

Later one of the more important articles in this newsletter discusses how the CETA is probably more dangerous than the TTIP agreement.

....Importantly, it doesn't matter who has the highest standards to start with: what matters is how the corporations from both sides of the Atlantic will use the regulatory co-operation and ISDS provisions of CETA to lower standards across the board. Also, in both Canada and Europe there are internal processes already deeply committed to the deregulation of environmental, health and labour standards, as well as the privatisation of public services.
