The weekend just gone by in the UK was a bank holiday weekend and the weather was really good. Millions of UK citizens fed up with the lunatic lockdown defied the authorities and were out in parks, beaches and on the streets in their droves. There were so many the police gave up trying to impose it. Even some pubs here and there opened up and people sat out enjoying the sun and having a pint. All the pubs should open rather than commit economic suicide and they should ask their customers to defend them. Up to that point the UK government message was Stay At Home. Today when many people returned to work it is reckoned the numbers up back to the near 70% to 80% of normal. Some of the London tubes were packed and nobody dropped dead as a result. This morning media figures including many celebrity figures were stunned and wondered what was going on while many who had stuck rigidly to the rules realized they have been fooled and lied to in the past 6 to 8 weeks. read full story / add a comment |
