The false sense of security of the internet has been completely overturned by the latest security bug to be discovered. A bug in the popular OpenSSL library used by many of the most important and frequently used server sites on the net allows arbitrary chunks of memory to be read remotely from user machines and servers, possibly containing very sensitive data, user tokens, bank details, emails and passwords. To mark Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, the IPSC will be holding a vigil highlighting the scandalous role of the Anglo-Danish multinational security firm G4S in Israel’s prison system. We will gather at 5pm at the Grafton Street Entrance to St Stephen’s Green in Dublin 2. Local Walking Tour, Smithfield Friday. 18th April - €10 pp On Friday 18th April at 5.00pm we will host a historical walking tours of the area, meeting in Smithfield Square across from the Generator.
