A shocking attack of austerity is impeding women’s lives from every angle; from Lone Parents, Children’s Allowance, Maternity Leave, Household Groceries, Household Utility bills, Property Tax and so on. With the tragic death of Savita Halappanavar, the unfolding of the Magdalene Laundries, with the attack on low paid civil servants, the women who feed the sick and those who keep our hospitals clean.
