Campa Náisiúnta Óige ’06 will be held this year at Sliabh Beagh Tourism Centre, Knockatallon, County Monaghan from Friday 23rd to Saturday 24th June.
This event is organised under the Processes of Nation Building Programme, which aims to create understanding and build relationships through dialogue and reflection with all those who have an interest in nation building across Ireland.
This year’s camp will have a Latin American flavour with Friday Evening dedicated to Che Guevara and events in Cuba. Saturday’s programme will take in the 25th anniversary of the 1981 Hunger Strike and Kieran Doherty’s election as T.D. for Cavan/Monaghan.
