While unconditionally opposing the policies of Zionism and their slaughter in Gaza it is important to look at the tactics of Hamas. Does their political, ideological and military tactics, such as firing rockets in Israel weaken or strengthen the Palestinian struggles. There is a difference between an offensive tactic like firing rockets into Israel and a defensive military strategy such as organizing a new intifada around mass collective workers organizations and from this base defend the Palestinian people with armed struggle. Belcoo was awoken at 5 in the morning on the July 21st to the invasion of Tamboran. It wasn't until later that morning that the frackers had the 'courtesy' to send local residence notice of their occupation of a nearby quarry. Greystones Harbour was opened to the public almost two years ago, in November 2012. The marina opened for summer 2013. However, despite written agreements and promises from the developer, the commercial fishers of Greystones have been refused access to the harbour and promised berths or moorings have not been offered to us. We are today entering the harbour and landing freshly caught fish, against regulations, as a protest against this continued exclusion from the harbour, which only two weeks ago included the removal of mooring cleats from the harbour’s north pier in order to prevent boats tying up. read full story / add a comment |
