Monday 15th August at 9am a group of 12 people went down to Shell's compound in Aughoose to stop work. Eventually Shell's private security (IRMS) and the Gardaí began working together to police the roads and protect deliveries of equipment to the compound. read full story / add a comment

Over the past week at Giuseppe Conlon CW House in Harringey London, we have recieived calls of concern, and requests for explanations, following the rioting and looting over the weekend that started in our borough of Harringey and extended across London and then to regional towns in England.

Besides this pot of gold the farmers may receive other moneys from European revenue. Many of the farmers officially retire and receive a pension for this while their sons continue to farm. But many of these older farmers only officially retire. Many of them unofficially continue to work while picking up their regular pension. And as far as I know their pensions were not cut as were those of the public service.

The event is splitinto two parts with the early show being Love Music Hate Racism’sfirst underage show featuring 7 teenage bands, kicking off at 2pmupstairs on the 1st floor.The underage gig was organised by JordenBukspan , a young student at Stratford college who approached LMHRwanting to get involved.
