The Anti Racism Rally The Irish Congress of Trade Unions has now officially endorsed the lunchtime rally at Belfast city hall to be held @ 1pm Jan 27th. They will be contacting all their affiliates asking them to support it. Also the Belfast Lord Mayor has also endorsed the rally and has confirmed that he can also speak at it. We are starting to get similar feed back from other organisations. The rally is being called as a visual and collective stand against the continued brutal attacks on the minority ethnic community. Arson attacks on homes, attacks on heavily pregnant women and yet more attacks on children and on men. It is time that the collective voice of working class communities with the trade union movement and the minority ethnic organisations came together in a united stand. With that - we urge all to spread the word and to attend this rally. read full story / add a comment
