In a desperate bid to raise more money for the starving Irish bankers, activists from the Final Nail Party took to the streets this morning to collect money from people on their way to work. On top of cuts in wages and conditions of employment, a reduction in services such as public transport and education, and various spurious "levies" and increased taxation; this morning's collection was an opportunity for ordinary workers to contribute directly to help the bankers, some of whom will earn less than two million euro this year. read full story / add a comment
