"The way we work is as important as the goals we reach," says norwegian state company StatoilHydro's president, Helge Lund. "We want to be recognised as a company that combines high performance with high integrity," he says.

Naoise Ó Mongain, Maura Harrington's husband, is handing in a letter to the norwegian ambassador on Thursday 26th March at 1.00PM at the norwegian embassy on Molesworth Street (just across the road from the passport office).

Naoise will be joined at the norwegian embassy by Senator David Norris and other political representatives.

The letter is to ask the ambassador to appraise his government of the fact that people are still being imprisoned in relation to the disputed scheme to install a production pipeline on land in County Mayo. Norway is implicated in this scheme throught the involvement of the state oil company, STATOILHYDRO.

The StatoilHydro Ethics Helpline provides a channel for any person to express concerns or seek advice regarding the legal and ethical conduct of StatoilHydro’s business.

you can report any problems you have with Statoil Hydro's behaviour in Ireland (and issues you may have with their partners) by clicking on this link:
