Camp Evicted

"Tara Camp Evicted"

just received this text from the tara camp:

"A Chairde,
Urgent call!! Night before last the new tara camp was evicted within a few hours. Two conservationists were assaulted. Intruders were also in Rath Lugh last night. After a successful week of action and festivities last week, our numbers are now the lowest yet.
Warriors, legal observers, cameras, support and supplies needed at Tara immediately. Slan go foill"

Rath Lugh is under temperary preservation order did John Gormley order eviction?

Was there accompanying legal documentation and if so who was it signed by.

Otherwise it sounds like siac and private security taking the law into there own hands AGAIN !

Please all those assaulted make complaints of assault to the Garda . Even though we know the Garda are taking instructions from siac managers
as was clearly obvious on July 18 th and in last court hearing.

Another text update:

"New camp at ardsallgh, Camp 3, was evicted on Monday night by security men with sticks. We need to keep a presence their as it is where they plan to build a bridge over the boyne. Numbers are way down now. We are preparing for winter and are collecting blankets, torches, cameras, boots etc.

The text detailing the eviction of protestors from Rath Lugh last night did not give enough details:-

1.Who evicted protestors at night and did they have papers?
2. If they had papers copies of them scanned on this site with addresses and signatures would
be nice to see.
3. Hard copy of eviction notices with names and addresses of those who ordered eviction included.
4. Rath Lugh is under temporary preservation order (signed by John Gormley) and as the first
Comment suggests, if he did not carry out the order- under whose authority did construction and
or CC workers assault two members of a peaceful protest vigil?

Since July 8th-18th there have been multiple claims of assault by protestors, including vid.
and docu. evidence on this newswire, it is now necessary to bring evidence to the authorities
so that:-

1. Peaceful protestors can mitigate charges against them for defence of the structures which
are largely carried out within the law and on open roadways.
2.The other side of the story regarding the authorities usual management of protest
(Brutalism and media isolation can be exposed).

All eviction orders, generally under the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) 2002 AKA
the 'Trespass Law' should be collated as they will form an archive or evidentiary materials.

The Case is being heard on December the Third in Navan Courthouse.

anyone who gets the txts btw- pass them on to someone who can relay the info on here
or to the mainstream media- most of the sites have press contact lists available to them.
Tarapixie has the legal contacts regarding advices on assaults.

If a bunch of private security thugs was responsible, than the time has come to retaliate. An eye for an eye, as the Bible says. Give them a taste of their own justice!

According to witness reports: The eviction that took place of a 'new camp', was that which being set up at Ardsallagh.

and Most defintely not at Rath Lugh.

"A Chairde,

Urgent Call! new Tara camp evicted. 2 assaulted. intruders in Rath Lugh Last night.
......pass msg on"

Both sites at Ardsallagh and Rath Lugh mentioned in txt, but, the assaults occurred
at the new site- the assaults need be reported becos the protestors have rights.

http://www.tarapixie.net

[ this is the seventh or eight reported assault by workers, without Garda ,CC and using
weapons (such as sticks) against peaceful protestors who have been highlighting
the issue of heritage destruction in Tara.

It is well-known that a number of protesters have been violently assaulted by workers and "security" staff. But non of the victims so far has made an official complain to the Gardai. By not doing so, the protesters are their own worst enemy.
