offsite link Labour?s New School Curriculum: Where Education Goes to DEI Tue Nov 11, 2025 15:03 | Dr Nicholas Tate
Labour's new National Curriculum is dripping with DEI and Left-wing dogma. Teaching Britain's national story is out, pushing more multiculturalism is in. It's the last thing Britain needs right now, says Dr Nicholas Tate.

Harriet Harman's review of bullying and harassment for the Bar Council has, predictably, found a 'massive' problem and made dozens of nannying recommendations. But less than 1% of lawyers replied, says Stephen Willmer.

Tralee: RESIST '07

A Day of Real Politics in Tralee

An exciting set of public debates, meetings, and DVD showings in Tralee
on Saturday 3 March.

“RESIST 2007” is a day conference featuring the themes of health, anti-war, revolution, South America, and Palestine.

*Martin Ferris TD of Sinn Fein, child psychiatrist Dr Peadar O’Grady of the SWP, and David Grey of the Green Party will ask ’Why Is Our Health Service in Crisis?’. What is wrong with the health service in Ireland, a country that, according to recent economic reports is now one of the richest on the planet? How can we have a health service that is now worse than it was in the 1980s?

*Colm Bryce is an antiwar activist who was among several arrested following an intervention against the Raytheon offices in Derry. Raytheon is the third largest arms manufacturer in the world. Colm will talk about the ‘Raytheon 9’ who have stood up to a barbaric government and have tried to save lives. They have a vision of a world that is cleansed of arms dealers and where technology is used to serve human need.
There follows a showing of the DVD ‘Back From Beirut’ made by members of the Raytheon 9.

*Che Guevara will feature in a talk by Kieran Allen about ‘Revolution in South America from Che to Chavez’. Hear about Che’s life and times, then, and the Chavez phenomenon, now.

*Local activist Mike Geraghty recently returned from a trip to Palestine, and will introduce a showing of the 58-minute DVD ‘The Iron Wall’
“The Iron Wall is a highly recommended film for anyone concerned with the quest for a just and peaceful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict - a film that takes a clear stand while showing genuine empathy for both sides." -- Hillel Schenker, of Palestine-Israel Journal.

At a time when an opposing viewpoint has been dismissed from public debate and media analysis, this event represents an opportunity to hear people talking meaningfully about the issues that matter.
