Al Jazeera.Net is reporting that under Germany's universal jurisdiction law, an investigation and "ultimately, a criminal prosecution" is being requested by a group of American lawyers representing Guantanamo Bay detailees. The Centre for Constitutional Rights who are bringing the complaint on behalf of 11 Iraqi citizens imprisoned in Abu Ghraib prison and 1 Guantanamo detainee accuse the US of torture and indefinite detention. |
