Group Launches Fur Free Ireland Campaign
It's winter-time for those fur-clad cavepeople to come lumbering back onto the streets-a scene that makes as many people shiver from disgust as from the cold. It's also time for people who care about animals to shift the anti-fur movement into high gear and take any fur hag to task.
Not if ARAN has our way. Today members of our team brought Patrick street in Cork to standstill. Prior to taking our protest inside the store our protesters managed to close off the entire department store for about an hour whilst hundreds including the media watched grippingly.
ARAN want people to know that every year millions of animals are trapped, drowned and beaten to death in the wild or gassed, strangled and electrocuted on fur farms. Despite huge labels such as ZARA, Tommy Hilfiger, H&M, Topshop, Stella Mccartney and many more now refusing to work with real fur.
ARAN is officially launching our Brown Thomas Cruelty Campaign in the next few weeks so stay tuned and be sure to keep checking ARAN.IE for hot updates!
