Pity the Qana butchered : Pity the Lebanese nation !
Sickened and incandescent with fury and horror against the latest outrage on the Lebanese people, three anti-war activists took to the streets to voice our condemnarion of this latest Zionist war crime and we were heard, loud and clear.
A constant motif of the passers-by who stopped to chat in the unending rain was the mealy mouthed, poisonous hypocrisy of western politicians doing a Pontius Pilate on the Lebanese/Gaza Strip bloodletting, wringing their fucking hands, calling for "restraint," a la St. Augustine, from the Israeli's, but not just yet. More of the same is planned for tomorrow.
As Robert Fisk says in his (below) UK Independent Article 'How can we stand by and allow this to go on?' If you are not prepared to stand idly by, then join us tomorrow outside Lynch's castle, Shop st, Galway at 1PM?.
