Noticed the only protest was downtown. How come no report of any protest outside the Embassy itself.? Iran does have an Embassy in Ireland.
Was there a protest outside the Embassy or do they get special treatment?

The Iranian Embassy is a bit out of the way at 72 Mount Merion Avenue, Blackrock, County Dublin. David Norris did mention that we will have to bring a demo to them at some stage.

But I look forward to the day when we can visit the Embassy of a Free Democratic Republic of Iran. The Iranian Theocracy will not be overthrown by any US/UK/Israeli Imperialist intervention. Change must come from within, only internal opposition is capable of vanquishing the Islamofascist Regime.

Such opposition does exist. I will give some links below.

Freedom soon will come.

Last year, soon after the execution was carried out, a protest took place outside the Iranian Embassy. The turnout was a fraction of this year's, and was probably due to the location.

It would be great to try it next year, though, now that it's in people's minds. Whether that lasts another 11-12 months is another thing.
