Don't follow the example of Brad Pitt & Robbie Williams!

Upstanding decent folk throughout the english speaking anglo-saxon world have had enough of suffering in silence at the latest assault of Satan on their values. As cable and network TV shows us Mr Brad Pitt's "first tattoo", others' attention and concern is aimed at the NHS (national health service) of Great Britian, where tax-payers are expected to pay for the removal of a tattoo from a navy veteran who is strong word here - transsexual. & Doctors warn on the risks of leprosy and syphilis from piercings.
be careful of those teeth & enamel & the syphilis not to mention the leprosy.

From the BBC :- "Tanya Bainbridge, 57, who was born Brian, wants the laser treatment so she can wear sleeveless dresses and tops"..." former sailor who had a sex-change will get her tattoos removed on the NHS because she feels "unladylike"...."Miss Bainbridge lives with her boyfriend, Mark, in Middleton, Greater Manchester. They are both unemployed. A spokesman for Heywood and Middleton Primary Care Trust, http://www.nhs.uk/England/AboutTheNhs/StarRatings/detai...ode=1 which will fund the treatment, said: "We cannot comment at the moment due to data protection." The procedure is believed to cost £2,500. Some women have tattoos on discreet parts of their body - they don't all have pictures of sailing ships and a swallow on their forearms
Miss Bainbridge, who had nine children - from whom she is estranged - by three different women, had a £20,000 sex-change operation on the NHS in 2001 at Charing Cross Hospital in London.

the 16th European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases which met earlier this month, has disclosed that In the USA, Canada, Australia and Northern Europe, between 8 and 13% of the population has tattoos and/or piercings, Jean-Baptiste Guiard-Schmid of the Paris Rothschild Hospital reported during the 16th European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Disease (ECCMID).

["The main health complications associated with piercing and tattooing include infections, pathologic healing, allergic reactions, tissue damages, bleeding and odonto-stomatologic lesions. Local bacterial infections are rare after tattooing but develop frequently from piercings, although they are usually minor. Between 10 to 20% of piercings are associated with local benign bacterial infection, according to the results of the few available studies on the topic. Typical symptoms of a local bacterial infection are redness, swelling, fever and pain. The main pathogens causing local infections, e.g. suppuration or abscesses, are Staphylococcus aureus, group A streptococcus and Pseudomonas spp. Impetigo has also been identified and is caused by Streptococcus pyogenes. These infections may become chronic and lead to local pyogenic granuloma (also called botryomycoma). Bacterial infections occurring as a result of piercing rarely spread and rarely lead to severe or life-threatening infections. Erysipelas and cellulitis have been observed with S. aureus and S. pyogenes aetiology. Anecdotal case reports of leprosy, tuberculosis, syphilis, chancroid and tetanus have also been published in recent years.

Facinf such global Evildoers we may only wonder at the turn-around in the normality of Salem Wisconsin USA where though community elders had backed the decision of local grade school directors to expel
An eighth-grader (14-year-old Elizabeth Estrada) for a nose piercing and offering to take a civil case against her under Wisonsin law possibly leading to the electric chair. Liberals & Hilary Clinton infitrates took her cause before the Board of Education and won at least a temporary reprieve, not to mention a compliment for her gumption.

"It takes a lot of courage for an adult to stand up for what they believe in," board president Patty Merrill told 14-year-old Elizabeth Estrada "And I think I speak for the entire board by saying that I think we're proud of you."
