Despite rainy weather a good protest was held outside Dunnes Stores on Grafton Street in suport of Joanne Delaney who was sacked for wearing a badge. At times the store was empty despite it being a Thursday evening - one of the busiest times of the week on Grafton Street. There was as usual an excellent response from passers by and several customers turned away from Dunnes when they saw the protest.
The Joanne Delaney Support Group is continuing with protests on Dunnes at the Ashleaf centre every weekend. Protests are held on Friday evenings from 5.00pm and on Saturdays from 12 noon.
