Reclaim The Streets With Dublin PRIDE

Celebrate Your Sexuality

Any gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgendered and not to forget straight people who are remotely radical, progressive, socialist, green, or just want a good, bloody party, make sure you make it to Dublin PRIDE, Saturday, June 29, 2002. Gather @ Garden of Rememberance at the top of Parnell Square @ 1.30pm sharp + be prepared to parade through Dublin City with style.

Anyone is welcome @ Pride, except homophobes. Bring family, friends &c hildren along for the best free annual festival that Dublin has to offer.

Dress to impress, the more outrageous, the better. Why not dress as gardai in drag! Reclaim the Streets again and this time there is nothing that the boys + girls in blue can do as it is totally legal.

The parade is a riot, its colourful, noisy and full of dancing, shiny happy people. It winds its down O Connell St., up Dame St. & it finishes @ the Dublin City Council Civic Offices in Wood Quay, where there is a free open air festival @ 3.30pmish, with an abundance of kitsch featuring Dublin's drag divas & boys & girl bands galore.

Bring political banners if you wish or alternatively just come along for the party. Can some of the indymedia crew come along to film the festivities. Whatever you do, make sure you make it to PRIDE it is always a day to remember.

Be Proud & celebrate sexuality!

You dirty thing, stop immediately, or Nora will have heart failure. Seriously, good luck to everyone, your sexuality is your own business.
