To open up the internet war against the squares, we not only announce the launching of our super-slick, uber-page but also the Ever Reviled Counter-Culture Forum! It is a veritable plethora of counter-cultural schemings, with forums on direct action, counter culture happenings, and various other issues. How can you resist the "Kill Whitey!" section? The recent election of war-mongering, neoliberal-pleasing, right-wing, Christian-conservative lap dog “Dubya” Bush into the presidency of the US only serves to underscore a new low in what is the truly farcical idea of the US being a “democracy.” If such was not blatant before, recent events have only highlighted that the creation of genuine democracy and the conditions for liberation can only be created not by wishing for them or trying to work through the machinations of the criminal state but rather through stepping outside of it and building the alternative.

And that’s why we in the ERR Worker Collective want to draw attention to the idea that building forms of direct democracy must be pursued!

We believe the launching of our website is important – not necessarily in itself, but as apart of building a counter-culture, of creating (in the words of Bobby Seale) “down home direct democracy”, and finding ways to communicate these struggles in the world. That is, to speak truth to those caught in the teeth of power and to create teeth of our own.

This ain’t no hype. We will win this fight because we are righteous and bad ass motherfuckers. The question is whether you will join us…
