For as long as time immemorial, the greedy rich, have been waging war against the poor/working class/peasants, all over the world.

From the shanty towns of africa, to the slums of brazil and sprawling run down council estates of the developed world.

In western industrialised countries the war takes the shape of the destruction and degradation of working class community spirit and cohesion through the authorities encouragement of dog eat dog competitive criminality, flooding working class areas with hard drugs such as crack/heroin.

A FRU operative admitted to me, he was supplied heroin by the brixton police to push to the working class community of brixton in the 1980s.

Life in working class communities has never been so harsh and brutal. With areas such as north belfast deprived of recreational outlets, such as leisure centres, the chance of educational progression, training and real jobs. Everyday the poor are ground down, through the maze of punitive DHSS beaurocracy, micky mouse training schemes and the scramble for the ever decreasing public housing stock.
Is it any wonder our children turn to crime, drugs and suicide to escape the harsh brutal grim reality of poverty and homelessness.

You can rest assured everything is being done to break the will, spirit and dignity of the poor/working class and to bring us to our knees.
What capitalists/rich envisage for for us the poor/working class who live in the relative poverty the industrial west and developed countries, throught the increasing destruction of the welfare state, is for us the poor/working class to experience the absolute grinding poverty of the third world poor, that is their future for us.

What they want is an uber capitalist playground for the rich where the poor/working class and our children are their new commodity to be bought, sold, abused and used like the women and street children of the third world.

My husband who was unemployed throught the turbulent 1970s and 1980s, spent his days trainning at Maysfield leisure centre. It took him many years of hard physical trainning, despite a disability to get his brown belt in karate,

At his physical peak he could do 70 press ups on his first 2 fingers, in the end poverty defeated him because in those days, being unemployed and from a working class area like the short strand he could not afford contact lens to correct his near total blindness, to enable him to progress any further in karate to get his black belt and become an instructor, if he had been rich he would be a black belt instructor today and his life would have taken a different path, instead he had to replace the high of martial arts with the high of drink and drugs.
Even today it is very hard to progress through martial artsdue to financial constraints, if you are poor/unemployed/working class, many of whose martial art ranks are filled with the privileged, militaristic, redneck, charles bronson type vigilantes, who specifically have the poor/working class in their target as the enemy/object of hate.

What there is available at community level for the poor/working class and unemployed is the harmless tai chi/physiotherapy for geriatrics type martial art.
It is a similar situation to that of brazil/the carribean in the olden days, when slaves/peasants/the poor were banned from organising and trainning in martial arts, instead they had to disguise this as a dance which is the origin of some forms of brazilian jujitsu.

It is a different case in london and manchester, where members of class war/AFA are black belts in and kick boxers.

It is clear the rich and right wing are waging a not so secret war against the poor/working class and its time we woke up and learn to fight back.

well i do thai boxing when im not lazy and i think we should learn martial arts for fighting the babylon.

think this was an interesting artikle we dont need authority but discipline and fresh food and fruits is the way

think though we are fighting capitalism as a social relation, and how we see the world and think, we are divided into klass's,

I think the middle class play a pivitol role in things as in who are the lawyers, soliciters, teachers, cops in command, business people, office bureaucrats, media heads, and journos etc ?

then again on a global level surely Im middle class what with my healthy dole wages

These people are by and large the ones who run things and the ones that this society works for.

They train their kids how to keep things going whether its doing well in the school - university conveyer belt or attaining business acumen or simply being mouthy and selfish.

until they croak it and its inheritance time

wealth is inherited

staus quo is maintained one way or anothers

This is one framework in which to view society.

Im not tryna say that all working class people are or sound or what ever.

I mean i definitely dont work cos its shit but i mean i can only eat out of bins cos people buy food in the supermarkets and i get the waste

Are you taking the piss? This sounds like the plot from a "Young Ones" episode. Maybe the chap ought to have learnt some of the philosphocial background to eastern martial arts and he wouldnt have felt so sorry for himself. Surely too he could have gotten a job as a bouncer given his prowess?

Firstly I would point out I am not telling this young man how he should live his life, however he may be unaware of the health implications.
There is a nasty ailment known as Weils' disease which is carried in rats urine. It is unfortunately fatal with no known cure and causes organ failure. Nasty forms of food poisoning and even Hepatitis from contaminated meat are also a distinct possibility.
I would also imagine that this hunter- gatherer approach to foodstuffs would not exactly endear one to the fairer sex (if that truly is your thang dude). If you have encountered an understanding young lady who leaves her wheelie bin out for you then fair play to her. However the heavy use of hallucinogenic substances combined with prolonged celebacy is almost certain to lead to a psychotic episode of some sort.

As for learning kung-fu to deal with the babylon, I admire your spirit, however this may be a precarious endeavour. Unfortunately Babylon the world over dont fight fair. While Bruce Lee, Robert Carradine and others of the Shao-Lin persuasion have chalked up notable successes against "THE MAN" unfortunately this was on TV and not in fact grounded in what we call "reality". It is a sad fact but no matter how many times one practices the "crouching deadly tiger" manouvre, Heckler and Koch 9mm on semi-automatic tends to win hands down I'm afraid.
Such is the way of the Babylon.

but being a vegan i dont have much food poisoning concerns,

being a squatter on the dole i have minimal finacial koncerns, as for kung fu to fight the babylon im down with that but i wouldnt rule out supporting green peace

I would like to apologise for being a wee bit judgemental about your lifestyle choice. You do your own thing and harm no-one. After reading some of the postings on these discussion boards I realise you are probaly one of the most sensible and chilled out individuals I have come accross.

You don't need to own a computer and a phone-line to use the internet. Go to the library or an internet cafe.

(Not that I'm advocating eating out of bins, lest you jump to another unwarranted conclusion. Or opposing it.)

By the way you don't need to kill animals to get leather. I'm sure you'll figure it out if you slow down a bit.

Firstly, how many effing libraries are open at half 2 in the morning (check the time of the hippies post). What are you on about killing animals to get leather ? did anyone even mention animals.

Anyway if my leather jacket didnt come from a dead animal id want my oney back .

Jesus I was polite and respectful to an obviously crazy doped out bin-hoker in the spirit of goodwill to all men and all I get is some eejit ranting about "figure out where leather comes from if your so clever". I dont care. Just goesw to prove , never trust a hippy.
