Mucho respect and courage to you all, with you in spirit and struggle.
(and from Paris as well! house guest says "brave brave Belfast people")
Much repect to the Belfast crew on trial. Rather than keep their opinions to themselves until election day, as we are all told over and over to do, they were on the streets, seen and heard.
I was there on the day, and the cops totally overreacted. They showed up in full riot gear for... no riot. So, obviously taking a page out of 'Anti-Globalization Law Enforcement for Dummies', They started dragging people away. I guess they figured that they didn't want to have gotten all dressed up for nothing...
Here's hoping it all gets tossed out of court.
Put Bush, Blair, and Ahern behind bars.
Keep up the good fight, we are behind you.
International Covenant on Civil and Political Rghts 1966.

The right of peaceful assembly shall be recognised. Hope all went well, and see you all again in Faslane!
Best of luck and solidarity to all.
