100 Gardai with blue gloves search through Shannon Peace Camp, confiscating ballons - crowd chants 'Search The Planes At Shannon!'

About a hundred Gardai just had a thorough root round the peace camp and in the process uncovered a nest of vipers in the form of a tent full of helium filled black baloons. Some were destroyed and many more liberated into the skies above clare. No arrests and they've gone now. Chanting protesters accompanied them with the refrain 'search the planes in shannon' and a wag was heard on the megaphone as they were departing reminding them -'When you come back bring 2 pints of milk and twenty major'.
