Why should they not have the same rights as any other criminal. They have the right to undergo the same "rehabilitation process" as anyone else who has comitted any crime no matter how severe (as we the public judge due to our morals) that crime may be. Peadophiles are sick people and they need help, people who vent their anger out so quickly on them are sickening. These people must be helped and rehabilitated, not named and shamed. Publicly stamping someone as a peado and throwing them out into society and leaving them to the dogs is madness (almost revolting). I know you might say that peadophelia is even more revolting, but these pepole are sick, i.e mentally disabled, depressed ect, not evil( dont be rediculous). If we want to move forward as a society (ie the human race) we have to be able to use our conciousness and our supreme intelect as human beings (not dogs or animals).

Not sure if their underlying desires can be cured. Anything I have heard seems to indicate otherwise. But that does not mean that they can not control themselves if they want to.
The only thing the rest of us seem to be able to do is keep tabs on where they are. So it is our business to know them and be able to monitor them.
Nothing inhumane about that.

Oh Janet, take a moment to revel in your stupidity, because that is not what bill said AT ALL! I dont think anyone here agrees with peadophilia. What you just said was totally rediculous. Bill was suggesting that they needed to be monitored I.E. keep tags on their whereabouts, make them check into garda stations et cetera.

I dont know why exactly you were under the impression that bill actually meant what you said, it was a stupid thing for you to do, accuse someone of something as vile that.

George, its easy enough for anyone to state how much they hate peadophiles, but its far more difficult to think of a "proper" way to deal with them.

Everyones heard the same old shit before about how much we hate peadophiles but its all a load of bullshit, of course we hate peadophiles, now can we try and move the argument on to somewhere else? ie what to do with them, how to help them (in an intelligent humane sense).
