The hooray henry middle class students have no respect for their working class permanent holyland residents.

We were all young once, but student scum today, have no consideration for single parent families/families/pensioners living next door to them, prompting one young single parent lady with a young son, to have to take an axe to her rowdy noisy inconsiderate male student bastard neighbours.

Many working class permanent residents are having to exist on tranquillisers to knock themselves out at night to cope with the noise and all night student partying.

The holyland punks always respected their working class permanent resident neighbours, and are integral in the holylands residents association today. Holyland punx were never as anti social as hoity toity middle class student vandals.
The permanent working class holyland residents are very easygoing, many of whom are mixed religion couples/families exINLA/UDA and don't mind a party at the weekend.
All night student parties & vandalism 7 nights a week, is overstepping the mark. Pseudo republican students touting to peelers on irate permanent holyland residents will not be tolerated. At least holyland punx did not constantly tout to the peelers everytime one of them got punched.

No, 'cleo'. I am a working class Dublin person. I have always believed that working class people should act with dignity, and should not descend to using the type of terminology you tend to use.
I have been a Trade Unionist all my working life, and could certainly never be described as a "social climbing snooty snob". I am not a member of any political party.
Incidently, the person who wrote the article above is a professional journalist. I'm not sure of his socio-economic background, but I think he is only exploiting working class people for his own gain. I think he is probably what you call a "social climbing snooty snob". (You might even be him)
Regarding students, I do not look up to them at all, and if you read some of the comments after the UCD election story you will understand one of the reasons why. Half of them seem to be either illiterate or barely literate. Working class people should never descend to their level.
As for avi, I don't think there was any need for 'hippy' to drag his name in here, that looks to me like trolling. but then avi is one of the better-known trolls on Irish Indymedia.

With all the mainstream media prejudice against working class youths, it is time things were put into perspective, in terms of who really are the vandals and anti social elements in our society.

The truth is it is the rich/children of the rich/middle classes are the most anti social scum about. Because they copy their ultra competitive dog eat dog snooty snobby capitalist professional parents, in their petty world of outdoing each other in terms of possessions/social status.

Within the Holylands area, the peelers are firmly behind protecting their future professional classes/bosses, at the destruction and expense of the 400 or so easy going unique, tolerant families/pensioners permanent residents of the Holyland.

So students are allowed to run amok, if it had been working class youths doing the running amok, they would have been banged up and criminalised long ago. Yet Students and with the old boy social connections of their privileged families are allowed to get away with all manner of anti social activities.

You are from Dublin so you have no right to comment about a situation you have no knowledge of, unless you have the ulteria motive of defending students. Precisely because you are employed, possibly in a professional position you are not qualified to pass judgement on, the activities of working class youths and some of the most economically disadvantaged groups in our society.

It is very easy to spot your name changes.

It is also very easy to spot your deceptions. You write in an affected 'working class', tabloid-journalist style, that no real people use, only eejits that believe that the SUN is an accurate reflection of working class culture.

For the last year at least you have been posting repetitive mindless crap to indymedia. From all of your posts we can glean the information that:

a) You don't like Johny Adair
b) You do like the mainstream UDA
c) Actually that's it... Everything else that you post is just window-dressing, snobby middle class this, brit-peeler establishment that. You think we're so simple-minded don't you?

with more that resembles news and humour in them. Do you give abuse to strangers with different accents in your local too? IMC is a glasshouse - people who live in glasshouses shouldn't throw stones. From visitors it is just about acceptable. Not for longtime residents.

You might think that cleo is a good read, I think s/he is a fraud. You are entitled to attack me on the grounds that you don't like my submissions, no problem. I am entitled to attack cleo on the grounds that I think he is a fraud. I think that he is a well-educated UDA sympathiser who thinks that by affecting a fake 'prole' style, he can peddle his opinions unchallenged. He's a big boy/girl and can stand up for himself. Unless you have more information than me about him/her, you should stick to defending him/her rather than telling me to shut up. If I am correct in my opinion, I am providing a valuable service to IMC readers in the spirit of peer review. If I am wrong it provides a good opportunity for cleo to justify him/her self.

I'm right too.
