Keep It In The Ground- Public Meeting On Climate Change

Bríd Smith’s Climate Change Bill is designed to prevent the further issue of licenses for oil & gas exploration. Fossil fuels are the major contributors to global warming. LEAVE IT IN THE GROUND has to be the approach to prevent further catastrophic damage to our environment. Ireland, though a small country, could lead by example on this.

On Monday July 9th at 7.30pm there will be a publoic meeting in Wynn’s hotel with Gregg Muttit from Oil Change International, Dave McMullen from Not Here-Not Anywhere and our own Bríd Smith.

We would urge all to attend.

May as well leave it in the ground as we aren't getting anything for it
thanks to government closed door deals between shell and co and the likes of ray burke
and bertie. Best leave it there until we get a government which serves the people and not just themselves
which at the rate we are going is likely to be never.
