As part of a very ambitious project, the book will contain a comprehensive history of the monument, an extensive collection of photographs and a wide range of diverse local, national and international opinion on the wall.

Spc. Casey Sheehan transited through Shannon, thanks to Bush & Bertie, on his way to his death. His brief time here confirmed for Casey his love for Ireland. What a shame and disgrace on us that we were complicit in his death! Today is a time to remember Casey, his family, and especially his mother, Cindy Sheehan, who has raised to US and perhaps global peace movement from, if not the grave, then certainly ennui. on sun. 16th of April at 11:45 am a military parade will march from dame st to the gpo to commemorate the 1916 rising. the proclamation will be read out by an army officer. this government commemoration excludes the voices, past and present of those who are building a very different kind of society on this island.
